No hidden plastic

Plenty of "paper" badges hide a plastic film. Ours don't: there is no laminate coating, the two layers of durable paper are bonded with a starch-based glue, and the badge recycles in standard municipal paper collection.

We print with dry toner, which is removed in standard paper recycling, like any office printout.

The one place plastic appears is the parcel. Shipments are sealed with plastic tape, because DHL doesn't accept paper tape on express shipments that travel by air.

Sustainability questions

If you can't find what you're looking for, get in touch.

How do attendees recycle the badges?

Any paper bin, whole. There's nothing to peel apart or separate. Put paper bins at the exits and most badges never leave the venue.

Can a multi-day event really use recyclable badges?

Yes. That's what the durable paper badge is for: two bonded layers at 500+ gsm hold up for 2-4 days of wear, and the whole badge is still paper.

What if our event is outdoors?

Paper badges handle indoor wear, not rain. For wet conditions choose Laminated Badges, which are water-resistant but not recyclable. We'd rather tell you the trade-off than sell you the wrong badge.
