One spreadsheet, two thousand correct badges

At convention scale, expo badges are a logistics task. A name typed at the registration desk takes about thirty seconds; multiplied by two thousand attendees, that is the queue wrapping around the lobby. Printed badges move that work from the event morning to a spreadsheet the week before.

Send one file with names, job titles, companies and badge types. Each badge can also carry a QR code, printed per attendee for lead scanning or pointed at your live agenda. Attendees, exhibitors, speakers and press each come back in their own colour, sorted into one delivery, and check-in becomes a hand-over rather than a production line. The registration queue is the first impression of the event.

The badge types conventions print

Six roles, six designs, one order. Colour tells them apart at a glance:

Attendee

The main run. Name and company set large, because the badge is there to start conversations.

Exhibitor

Its own colour, so stand staff are easy to find from across the aisle.

Speaker

A separate design that door staff recognise on sight.

Press

Clearly marked, so people know who they are talking to.

Staff

Easy to spot across a hall, which is what matters when an attendee needs help.

VIP

A separate design for the guests whose visit is managed personally.

Convention badge questions

If you can't find what you're looking for, get in touch.

How many convention badges can we order?

Up to 2,500 Laminated Badges are quoted instantly online, 2,000 for plastic and paper. Bigger conventions are normal business, they just go through a manual quote so we can confirm the production slot.

Will the badges last a 3-4 day convention?

Laminated Badges are built exactly for that: worn, pocketed, scanned and worn again for days without going soft at the edges. If the badge should be plastic-free, durable paper is two bonded layers made for 2-4 days of wear.

How do attendee, exhibitor, speaker and press badges work in one order?

Mark the group in your spreadsheet and each group gets its own colour or design. Door staff read the badge type from across the aisle, and nobody wanders the exhibitor hall on a visitor badge unnoticed.

What sizes do convention badges come in?

Two sizes cover almost every convention: A7 at 74x105mm and A6 at 105x148mm. A6 is the popular choice for expos because the name stays readable at stand distance.

How long before the convention should we order?

Production is 3 days for laminated and paper, 4 for durable paper, plus express shipping on top.

Two weeks out is comfortable and leaves room to check a sample pack first. Registration lists that close late can be sent as a second, smaller order.

What if we run out of badges mid-convention?

Honestly: a reprint won't reach you by the next morning, production alone takes days. The fix is ordering a 5-10% buffer of generic badges up front. At volume prices the buffer costs less than one lost exhibitor conversation.
